Empoli green bottle - 1960s Italian genie bottle

Stunning 1960s deep green Empoli genie bottle. It was made in Italy and originally stored bath / epsom salts. This large bottle looks stunning in the daylight with a diamond pattern along the bottom and vertical lines with a large matching stopper. Unusually for these bottles, the stopper has it's original rubber meaning it doesn't wobble and remains securely in place. Where you want to add a touch of Italian elegancy to your mid century dining room or curiosity to your maximalist lounge, this bottle ticks all the right boxes. This is a vintage item and so may show signs of its previous life. There are some chips to the diamonds on both the bottle and stopper, however they are very hard to see and do not detract from the look of the piece. The original stopper's rubber has aged and split and there is some residue from the original epsom salts in the bottle. Please see photos for details. It is a whopping 51.8cm in height with the stopper in place (36.7cm without the stopper) and 10cm in diameter.
