Framed, vintage oil painting of a winter landscape by Zhao Huxie (nom de plume 'Clifton'). Signed lower right. Oil on canvas in a wooden and gilt frame. Original artwork. Zhao Huxie is a Chinese artist, inspired by the impressionist masters like Pissaro. He graduated from Yeonbyeon University as a Fine Arts Major. His painting, titled 'The Fire of Sun', won the Jilin Art Exhibition Award in 1995. Wonderful moody tones and atmospheric scene. Frame size: 39cm wide, 33.5cm high, 3.75cm deep. Frame opening: 30cm wide, 24.4cm high Condition: In good vintage condition. Minor foxing to the canvas which in no way detracts from the beauty of the artwork (please see photos).
