Framed, vintage oil painting of a summer landscape by Zhao Huxie (nom de plume 'Clifton'). Signed lower right. Oil on canvas in a wooden and gilt frame. Original artwork. Zhao Huxie "Clifton" is a Chinese artist, inspired by the impressionist masters like Pissaro. He graduated from Yeonbyeon University as a Fine Arts Major. His painting, titled 'The Fire of Sun', won the Jilin Art Exhibition Award in 1995. Wonderful relaxing scene and neutral tones that would complement a number of different interior schemes. Frame size: 39cm wide, 33.5cm high, 3.75cm deep. Frame opening: 30cm wide, 24.5cm high. Condition: In good vintage condition. Minor foxing to the canvas which in no way detracts from the beauty of the artwork (please see photos). Vintage original artwork will show marks commensurate with age.
