Calling all tea lovers! This huge, utilitarian 'Brown Betty' J. Sadler teapot, is a superb and very rare 6 pint example! Dating to around 1900 it would make a great quirky display piece or perfect for family gatherings, cafés or tearooms! H: 18cm (7") x W: 29cm (11.5") including handle and spout. In excellent antique condition throughout, free of chips, nibbles and with a clean interior. It does have a patch of glazing irregularity to one side (please refer to photo 9) as was very common with this glaze and product. This does not affect the use of the teapot and is not visible on its interior face. All our items are genuine pieces of age and are never sold as in new condition.
