This is a Willow Grouse (Riekko, in Finnish or Schneehuhn) from the Birds by Toikka Collection. This specific design was introduced in 1981 (according to the Birds by Toikka book - Werner Söderström Osakeytiö - Helsinki - 2008 - page 19). It is mostly white, but has soft beige/ milky coffee streaks and spots, which gives it a beautiful tactility. The bird’s head is clear/ transparent. The bird is signed on the base “O.
