A lovely ivory porcelain swan with beautiful detailed feathers. A very tactile piece. There is a porcelain mark R within an M and a 'Made in Japan' sticker. I believe it was originally designed as an ashtray but nowadays there are more social uses to be found - use it in the bathroom piled high with cotton balls, on your dressing table for jewellery or crystals or on the coffee table with nibbles or add to a swan collection.
