Stunning pair of Limited edition Johnnie Walker and LIULI Gongfang Crystal whiskey glasses/tumblers which were part of a collaboration in Asia for end of year VIP appreciation and Lunar New Year celebration. Founded in 1987 by renowned glass artists Loretta H. Yang and Chang Yi, LIULI has grown from a modest workshop in Taiwan to become Asia’s leading brand of crystal art. Liuli is a Chinese term from the Han Dynasty for glass art, and was chosen to honor the richness of Chinese heritage and culture. Records show that artisans of the Han Dynasty were highly skilled in lost-wax casting (pâte de verre) but the craft was subsequently lost and forgotten. Yang and Chang revived the craft and reintroduced it to the international arena. LIULI worked with Johnnie Walker between 2012 and 2017. The company was inspired by the aesthetic and the spirit of “Keep Walking” by Johnnie Walker and designed a series of modern yet down-to-earth Liuli art display pieces and drinking glasses as well as stands for their blue label and XR whiskey. These stunning whiskey tumblers are in perfect condition, measure 9cm tall and 7cm in diameter at the top and 11cm in diameter at the widest point...more
