Fabulous, Large Vintage Burleigh Ironstone Staffordshire Cheese Dome displaying The Farmers Arms Poem- God Speed The Plough. The top of the dome is decorated with farm animals and the sides with farming implements. The base has a black painted rim and on the reverse has the makers marks. Its such a lovely and unusual piece for entertaining, perfect for those Autumn and Winter days. Approx. measurements: H18cm x W24.5cm at widest point Weight 2.072g Great condition, no chips or cracks, very slight crackle to the glaze on the top of the dome but barely noticeable.
