This mid-century candle lantern seems to be quite a unique object! The variety of materials used really work well together and there is a handmade quality that is really special about it. The glass portion is molded with repeating depressed circles around the full cylinder and it is a beautiful deep amber colour. It sits inside of a brass base with hammered brass sides and a teak handle. It's affixed with brass fixings. This object is in good shape, with some rusting under the glass, which isn't visible at all unless you remove the votive portion.
