An expressive landscape composition, oil on board. Attributed to the listed Swedish artist Sven-Erik Markhed. Born in 1925, the listed painter studied at Essemskolan in Malmö 1947-1950, as well as Grand Chaumière and Colarossi Paris. He has held exhibitions across Sweden, in Växjö, Halmstad, Malmö, Stockholm, Linköping and Gothenburg. The painting dates to the 1950-60s and has been reframed in solid beech moulding.
