An abstract oil landscape painting on canvas, signed by the Swedish artist, Gösta Asp. A rich colour palette of warm reds, browns and greens. Framed in a period pine frame. Born in 1910, Asp studied at the painting schools of Edward Berggren (1927-1928) and Otte Sköld (1928-1930) before attending the Art Academy in Stockholm 1930-1936. Following his extensive studies, he travelled around the world before settling in Copenhagen. He has had solo exhibitions in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Helsingborg, Malmö and Norrköping.
