Unique Hand Painted Glass Vase

The detail on this hand painted vase is rather stunning. I am unaware of it's origin and it does look as if it could once have been a beer glass although the bottom is rather thick, heavy and vase like. It is very professionally hand painted with purple and lilac anenomes on very dainty green stems and leaves. The inner part of the flowers are painted a texture of black with a dotted ring of gold paint which really highlights the flowers. Amongst the flowers is a very intricately painted bee on the hunt for nectar. The glass is 21cm high and 8cm in diameter at the rim.
