These attractive little vintage glasses are from Luminarc France and date from the 70s or 80s. They have green beehive stems and an attractive white grape vine print in white. They are smaller than the average wine glass and are known as Roemer style wine glasses. 'Roemer wine glasses evolved in Germany and the Netherlands over centuries, perfecting in the 17th. The typical shape is a hemisphere superimposed on a cylinder with a hollow foot built up by coiling threads of molten glass around a conical core' One of the glasses has a slight fault in the printing but apart from that they are in excellent condition.
