This would be a perfect addition to any retro bar a beautiful vintage soda bottle. Established Dublin in 1868, Cantrell & Cochrane quickly became one of the largest drinks manufacturers of its time as the first producers of ginger ale. The company successfully trademarked the “Club Soda” name in Britain and Ireland in 1877. Exporting their products around the world, they gained the Royal Warrant in 1901. This fine, early example bears their ornate etched logo on both the heavy glass bottle front and back together with the familiar ‘C & C’ trademark on the side. An engraved metal top bears the legend ‘Porcelain Lined, Eugsters Patent No 24576, British Syphon Company, London’.
