Vintage Portmeirion Duck Egg Dish/Casserole Dish

This listing is for a rather charming vintage Portmeirion duck egg basket/casserole dish 🦆🥚🥘 This would make a great item to give your kitchen that on trend country farmhouse kitchen feel. The item could be used as a functional piece or just as a lovely decorative item. The item features a small duckling on each side nestled in by the mother ducks wings. A nice alternative to the popular Portmeirion hen egg basket 🐓 The item has had a wash and is ready for use in the kitchen. The glaze on the item has a lovely sheen to it. Underneath the mother ducks beak there is some marks to the glaze, which look like they are a manufacturing fault. There is also a tiny hole on her neck (please see photo). Overall though the item is in very good condition and because these faults and the hole are underneath and not visible without turning the item upside down, they do not take away from the beauty of the item.
