This vintage ceramic wall-hanging planter has been hand-made in Coimbra, Portugal. The design has been based on pottery dating to the 17th centry (SEC XVII). It features a central bird motif (possibly a peacock?) and has been painted with a traditional folk-art design. It has a hole at the back to allow it to be hung on a wall.
