Vintage Prinknash milk jug - Earthenware

Tactile and eye-catching earthenware milk jugs / creamers by Prinknash pottery. Unusually, they are made of white clay (Prinknash is generally associated with red clay) with metallic glaze which has a gorgeous lustre sheen. Prinknash pottery was founded by Benedictine monks in Gloucestershire, England in the 1940s and continued to produce pottery until 1997. A wonderful hand thrown piece with a timeless design that would make an excellent addition to any coffee table or afternoon tea. This is a vintage item and so may show signs of its previous life. There are no obvious chips, cracks or crazing. Please see photos for details. The cups are approximately 6.5cm in height and 6.5cm in diameter.
